Company Background:
Web International English was established since 1998 with the aim of providing learners with a better and more effective way of learning English. To do this we created a unique Three-Stage Multi-Discipline Learning Method and combined it with one of the world’s most advanced course-ware providers. Currently, Web is one of the largest leading English training centers in China. With over 100 centers nationwide, Web train over 50,000 learners each year.
Web’s teaching system was immediately successful and we have since gone on to establish nearly 100 centers across China.
Today, Web has become one of the biggest international English training centers in China. Each year it helps nearly 200,000 people, including government officials, employees in international companies and university students. We have a vast network of current and former students around the country all using the Web method to improve their English.
The key idea behind the entire Web system is our teaching of language as a skill. To do this Web uses world-class proven multimedia courseware and combines this with highly qualified foreign teachers to provide the students with a complete learning environment. The student has the best of both worlds by combining detailed computer work with a natural English environment provided by teachers from many different English-speaking countries.
We are committed to small class sizes to ensure that all students get the attention they need. The maximum number of students in Private Classes is limited to 4. In the larger salon classes, where the focus is more on group work and discussion, the maximum class size is 10.
Web International offers much more though than simply computer self-study and classes. The Web student can also enjoy a wide range of extra activities, such as English Corners, Movie Classes and Extra Curricular trips. These are events where the students can mingle with the foreign teachers, that come from a range of different countries, and practice English in a totally natural, real-life way. In this way not only will the students’ language skills improve but also their cultural knowledge.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced ESL teachers in Xuzhou Center in Jiang Su Province. Our center is located in the city center with huge area and modern working facilities.

Xuzhou is a place where the foreign community is small enough that at every turn people are excited to share their way of life and a few Chinese phrases will make you countless friends. Delicious food (not too spicy), great foreign friends (not too many), and real Chinese history (a ton) will give you a rewarding experience to remember. Xuzhou is not famous for being a tourist destination, this is important because the view you get of China here is real, not something that was assembled together to draw a crowd. If you are looking for a crystal clear snapshot of modern Chinese culture and a front row seat to the flattening effects of globalization buy your ticket, take the ride.”
Job Description:
ESL Teachers at Web International English work 40 hours per week, including a total of 25 teaching hours. Classes are split into three main types: Private Classes, Salon Classes and English Corners. Lesson plans for Private Classes and Salon Classes are provided by the school.
Age of students 12-45 years old
Teaching hours/week 25
Office hours/week 15
Total hours/week 40
Schedule Mostly evening and weekends.
2 weekdays off.
Students per class 4 (private classes),
Max 10 (salon classes),
10-30 (Social clubs)
Job Responsibilities:
• Teach up to 25 hours per week
• Lesson planning and preparation
• Conducting level tests
• Administration duties (ie. Attendance records, curriculum development)
• Counseling students by providing constructive feedback
• Participation of Extra Curricular Activities (ECA)
• Participating in ongoing training and workshops arranged by school
• Participating in promotional and marketing activities organized by school
• Attending all scheduled meetings
Job Requirements:
• Native speaker of English
• Bachelor Degree or above
• teaching experience would be better
• Minimum age 25 years old up to 45
• CELTA/TEFL/TESOL/TESL certification would be better
• Willing to work irregular hours
Remuneration(RMB)
• Pre-job Training in Shanghai
• Competitive remuneration of
7000 （period of probation） to 8500(probation passed) per month
• Full attendance bonus of 200 per month
• Substantial Housing Allowance of 1500 per month
• Flight Allowance of 6000 per year
• 5 days paid holidays + 11 days Chinese public holidays
• Company arranged festival presents
• Paid and sponsored Z visa plus Foreign Expert Certificate (FEC) 、Resident Permission
• Provide commercial insurance for 120rmb deducted from income
• Arrival Assistance (Apartment search)
