ESL Teachers, Kg / Primary Level, Various Locations All Over China!

From 7000RMB + free accommodation, medical insurance, working (z) visa, annual bonus, training

We are working with this well established network of language schools across China. They need ESL Teachers with a passion for teaching children. NO previous experience / TEFL required. Native speakers of English only.

Contracts are either 6 months or 1 year and start dates are from September 2015 onwards. NO experience or TEFL / CELTA is required, just a Bachelor’s degree and willingness to teach preschool to 14yr olds. (You will receive a recognised TEFL qualification during your training).

You can choose to work a 23 or 28hr week, most choose a 23hr week as this gives you 3 full days off. You can do more hours and will be paid 100RMB/hr.

The location and school will all be confirmed beforehand and you can choose so no nasty surprises.

Requirements: BA degree, between aged between 23 – 50. A 40hr (min) TEFL is preferred, if you do not have this, the company will put you on an 80hr TEFL course for free. 40hrs need to be done before you leave for China and the other 40 will be done when you arrive. If you do not do the initial 40hrs, you will not get a work visa.

On a 23hr contract the working week consists of 2 full days (8hrs per day), 1 x 5hr day and 1 x 2hr day. That’s it!

Salary and benefits package offered (23hr contract): 7000RMB + free accommodation, medical insurance, end of contract bonus (1mth if on a 1yr contract, 1 week if on a 6mth contract), 4hrs of Chinese language lessons per week. There are also significant promotion prospects too. O/T is paid at 100RMB/hr. 2 weeks paid leave provided + Chinese public holidays.

Accommodation could be shared but they are fully furnished, you will just have to pay for utilities which amounts to c.200RMB per month.

You are met at the airport and taken directly to your accommodation. You will receive a welcome pack which includes a phone card to call home.

Length of contract: Ideally 1yr but they do offer 6 months too.

Student ages: 3 – 12

Class sizes: 10 (3-6) & 18 (7-12)

The focus of the classes is listening and speaking and you will interact with the parents too.
