ESL Teachers Needed
St. Joseph Rayong School is a Catholic girls school located in Rayong, Thailand.
We are currently looking for ESL teachers, including a grade one teacher and kindergarten teacher.
The successful candidates will be teaching up to a maximum of 22 (50 minute) periods a week in a school will friendly staff and students.
All the students at our school are girls and have been taught by native English speakers for at least 3 years now. We have a very well equipped school with air-con, projectors and interactive whiteboards available in all the classrooms, as well as access to other modern facilities. The students all have course books that provide the outline of the curriculum.
There are currently 10 Western teachers on staff who all enjoy access to multimedia rooms, interactive whiteboards, computer labs, home economics rooms and a large collection of books and other resources to help them teach effectively. The internet is available throughout the school and all the teachers have access to photocopying.
All teachers are required to be at school from 7:30am. Western food is provided for you at lunchtime.

You must be available to start teaching in June and ideally would already be in Thailand in order to attend an interview.
The initial salary is 30,000 baht. Salaries are increased to 33,000 baht after 3 months and are increased annually based on evaluation. All our teachers receive health insurance.
Professionally qualified teachers with considerable experience can also negotiate salary with the principal.
The ideal candidate will have some experience teaching children and will have a degree in any field.
Teachers cannot be employed in Thailand without a degree and, as of 1st of February 2012 anyone not from: The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, The United States of America, Commonwealth of Australia, New Zealand and Canada needs to obtain a TOEIC or IELTS certificate. We can employ you without one of the aforementioned English proficiency certificates but you would need to sit the exam soon after joining us.
