ESL Teachers Needed for Aston a+ China

Aston A+ English School is a branch of Aston English Schools that combines modern educational methodology with multi-media. Aston is American owned and has over 70 schools across China and has employed over 1500 foreign teachers since it started in 1996. Beginning with one school in Dalian, Aston now has schools all over China, from Dalian in the north to Xiamen in the south and Chengdu in the west. Students of all ages come to our schools to prepare for exams, study abroad, or for the fun of learning English.

We are now hiring for teachers for Aston A+ Dalian Development Zone and Aston Xianyang to start around September 1st, 2013. Dalian Development Zone is a suburb of Dalian approximately 35 minutes by light rail from the downtown area. Dalian is situated beside the ocean just one hour by plane to Beijing or Korea. Xianyang is a small city located one hour by bus from Xi'an which is famous for the Terracotta Soldiers.

Qualifications:

We require:

* Native speakers of English at least 24 years old

* Nationalities preferred are American, Canadian, British and Australian

* University degree in any subject

* TEFL Certificate

* Two years of teaching experience after graduation

* Must be creative, energetic, flexible and responsible

* Must enjoy teaching children classes and participating in promotional events. Ages range from 3 to 15. Most students are between 3 and 12.

* Small class size. Average class size is 6.

Compensation:

September Starts

One Year 28 hour contract: 25 teaching hrs/wk plus 3 office hours

Salary: Dalian Development Zone 7,700 RMB/month;

Xianyang: 7, 500 RMB/month

Teaching Days/Wk: 5 days a week totaling 25hr/wk plus 3 office hours

OT 100 RMB/hr for over 25 hours per week

Completion Bonus 8,000 RMB

Note- All bonuses are intended as your flight reimbursement. To get a full flight reimbursement you must make a commitment for at least one year and do the full 28 hour contract. Aston A+ schools offer a slightly different program than the other Aston schools and also a slightly higher pay. In addition, we offer 50 RMB to teachers for every student who signs up after a demo.

All contracts include housing, Internet access at school and Chinese classes.
