Position: Foreign English Instructor

Employer: The municipal government of Shenzhen city, China

Location: Shenzhen, Guangdong province, China

Student Level: Grade 1 - 6 public elementary school students, 7 to 13 years old (each instructor is assigned to teach in one public elementary school)

Contract Period: September 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014 (will start teaching after enter China with Chinese work Z visa)

Qualifications

1. Native English speaker

2. Bachelor degree (any field of study)

3. TESOL/TEFL or equivalent certification by time of Chinese work Z visa application

Job Duties

1. Preparing lesson plans and delivering classes focusing on teaching conversational English

2. Organizing student academic activities and events

3. Participating school meetings and academic events

Work Schedule

1. Full time employment: approx. 8hrs/day, 5 days/wk

2. Working hours: 7:50am–12:00noon & 2pm–5:30pm, Mon–Fri

3. Maximum 20 classes/wk, each class’ duration is 40–45 min
