About International Campus
International Campus, Zhejiang University is located in Haining City, Zhejiang Province. The Campus spans key programs across multidisciplinary fields, including science, engineering, humanities, social science, business, medicine, and agriculture. It integrates the functions of teaching, research and technology transfer, and caters to the needs of students and faculty from home and abroad.
Currently, International Campus has established two joint institutes with University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the USA and University of Edinburgh in the UK. The two joint institutes-- ZJU-UIUC Institute and ZJU-UoE Institute were approved by the Ministry of Education, and will have its first enrollment in 2016. The Campus will become a high-caliber campus matchable with world-class universities, a strategic base for providing internationalized education, and a powerful engine to drive academic exchange and collaborative research.
About Language Center
Since English will be the language used in teaching and learning on the International Campus, the Language Center is dedicated to providing a supportive language learning environment and enhancing students' English proficiency, especially communicative competence in academic settings. Through a variety of classes and activities, the Language Center also aims at developing students with creativity, intercultural awareness, critical thinking abilities, and life-long learning abilities.

Job Description
- Position: Full-time academic English instructor at Language Center
- Teach English to the best undergraduate students in China
- Location: Haining, Zhejiang Province
- Term : 13 months, August 2016 to August 2017
- Workload: 40 hours/ week, including 12-18 lecture hours/ week

Responsibilities
- teach integrated English classes training four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing
- teach academic writing classes
- teach a variety of classes including literature, creative writing, intercultural communication, newspaper reading, debate, art, etc.
- prepare lesson plans, review assignments and give feedback to students
- organize events, activities and workshops to create an encouraging language learning environment and enhance students' motivation in learning English

Qualification
- Master's degree or above with TESOL or TEFL certificate (or equivalent certificate)
- Native English speaker from USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand
- At least two years experience of English language teaching at university level (TESOL or Academic English Program preferred)

Salary & Benefits
- Monthly salary for teachers responsible for academic writing classes can reach more than 20,000 RMB (tax included) depending on qualifications and experience.
- Monthly salary range for teachers teaching integrated English classes is 10,000 - 20,000 RMB (tax included) depending on qualifications and experience.
- Bonus: up to 100,000 RMB (tax included)
- Accommodation provided by International Campus
- Travel allowance for one round trip international airfare for each year
- Full social insurance and medical insurance
