Located in the unique Chinese city of Xiangtan, Hunan Software Vocational Institute is offering a wonderful teaching opportunity for adventurous and independent native English speakers seeking an immersive cultural experience while providing excellent teaching and living conditions.

In its pursuit of excellence the college welcomes motivated English teachers with the ability to implement creative lesson plans through a number of teaching methods, adapt to new and challenging teaching environments, be approachable and open in their teaching style and transfer their passion for ESL teaching to the classroom.

Salary: 4,600 RMB per month (includes all holiday periods)

Flights: Return flights reimbursed up to 10,000 RMB

Medical: Full medical examination reimbursement. Free health insurance while in China.

Visa expenses: Reimbursed

FREE ACCOMMODATION AND UTILITIES
You will be housed in an on-site, self-contained apartment free of charge. These apartments are fully equipped and include two dual-climate air conditioning units, a flat screen TV, a western toilet, fridge, washing machine etc.

Utilities: Free WIFI, electricity, water, gas

Phone: 200 RMB allowance per month

Travel: 1,200 RMB allowance twice a year

Holidays: 2 month summer holiday, 2 month winter holiday, 10 day national holiday in October

Start of semester bonus: 700RMB

Chinese Lessons: Free weekly Chinese lessons

Teaching: 16-20 teaching hours per week. Teach oral English to beginner and business English students of college age.

Qualifications: Teachers must have a bachelor’s degree as well as a TEFL, ESL or TESOL certificate or any equivalent qualification.

Tutoring: Additional tutoring opportunities are available through the college’s independent tutoring program. At their leisure, teachers can earn extra payments each week tutoring children and adults of all English levels.
