Immediate 2014 Openings for Female Teachers Only

Teacher of English for Technical/Vocational College Students (Freshman Level Female Students)

Provide on-site instruction for a Saudi government organization overseeing the country’s colleges of technology and telecommunication. The goal of the program is to prepare students for different professional functions requiring English as a medium of communication. Experience working with high school and university students is a plus. Experience in the Middle East preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $35,000 to $42,000 USD per year (tax free)

• Round-trip transportation to and from Saudi Arabia

Minimum Qualifications:

• Native English speaker with passport from an English speaking country

• BA or BS degree from an accredited university (ESL, Education or English preferred)

• Strong computer skills with experience using technology in the classroom

• 120-hour TEFL certification or CELTA with teaching practicum (purely online or less than 120 hour certificates will not be not accepted)

• 2 years teaching experience with adult learners preferred

• Creative, flexible and adaptable to experiential, project/needs-based approach teaching

• Committed to learner-centered teaching methods

• Culturally sensitive (able to adapt to a way of life requiring conformity and flexibility)

Preferred:

• MA in TESL/TEFL, Applied Linguistics or Education with TESOL specialization and/or DELTA

(Online degrees without a campus, residential component, or less than 1 year not accepted)
