Job Summary:
E-1468: a reliable public middle school
- Positions open: two positions, couple welcome
- Location: Wonju city, Gangwon province, 60 miles east from Seoul, 1.5 hours by bus
- City’s website: http://english.wonju.go.kr/site/foreign/eng/page/index.jsp
- Type of school: A public middle school (G7-9), one of the best middle schools in the province.
- Starting date: Early June
- Working hours: 8:10 – 4:30: Monday through Friday, 9:10 – 11:10 AM Saturday.
- Work on Saturday: not regular teaching classes but extracurricular activities (considering the work on Sat. extra paid vacation provided; one extra week during winter plus days-off during the school's exam periods - four times per year)
- Teaching classes: maximum 25 fifty minute classes per week.
- Salary: 2.1 – 2.3 million won
- Benefits: travel costs, single furnished housing near the school, severance payroll, medical insurance, national pension, minimum 4 WEEK PAID VACATION plus additional paid vacation provided as briefed above
- Currently, four American teachers and nine Korean teachers are teaching English.
