EF is a global enterprise that has been in the business of education for over 44 years. Founded on the premise of breaking down barriers of language and culture, we have grown into the largest English language training school on Earth, operating in 52 countries worldwide including China- our biggest market.
English First Hefei is now interviewing full-time teachers to sign up with us for 1 year.
EF Hefei has been operating successfully for over 10 years now. We teach students of all ages. We have courses ranging from kindergarten English to Professional Business English.
During our 10 years, a number of teachers have successfully finished and extended their contracts. At the minute we have 18 foreign teachers and more than 20 local teachers. Several of our foreign teachers have extended their contracts and are in their second, third or even fourth year with the school. We continue to expand our operations due to demand and now have four functioning centers. Promotional opportunities for qualified and proven candidates are for the taking. All centers are equipped with interactive whiteboards (IWB) in all classrooms and extensive shared resource compilations.
Our school offers return flights to China, accommodation, a competitive salary as well as free weekly Chinese lessons and training workshops to ensure continuing professional development. At English First Hefei, it is our prerogative to ensure all of our teachers are constantly improving their classroom skills using the most up to date methodologies. This is ensured through an extensive on boarding program and weekly professional development workshops.
Hefei, Capital of Anhui Province, is what's known as a 'small Chinese city' but it has a population over 5 million people. The locals are extremely friendly and it's an ideal place to learn Chinese. The eating culture here is what many people find most attractive about the city. Busy local restaurants with huge varieties of dishes can be found absolutely everywhere. You'll never be short of invitations to dinner and visits to KTV (karaoke). The school is situated in the city centre. It is a busy and friendly environment. The accommodation provided by the school is a short walk away in a leafy neighborhood with parks and lakes. As for traveling, Hefei is situated near the Yellow Mountains, other major cities such as Nanjing is only 50 minutes away and Shanghai about 3 hours away by bullet train.
