Positions available:

1. Two openings for an English teacher starting as soon as possible.
2. Two openings for an English teacher starting in September.

Job description:

1. Full time position, Monday to Friday.
2, Working time: 8:30-11:40 AM, 2:40-5:30 PM.
3. Two thirty minute English lessons a day.
4. 30 minutes preparation time everyday.
5. Maximum 16 students in a class.

Requirements:

1. Native English speaker.
2. Bachelors degree or above.
3. Two or more years experience.
4. Experience in Montessori education a plus.

About us:

Dongzhi Manor is an international kindergarten based in Xiuying district, Haikou. The location provides a peaceful learning and working environment but is still easily accessible from other parts of the city.The kindergarten covers 5,000 square meters with plenty of room for indoor activities such as art, science, ceramics and woodwork as well as outdoor activities such as P.E and gardening.

Dongzhi Manor can accommodate 200 students and is growing quickly with new classes opening as more and more student join. Student have the opportunity to improve their language, social, mathematical and scientific exploration skills as well as their artistic imagination and creativity.

Foreign English teachers have an active involvement with the development of their students, each teacher is responsible for their own class as well as a speciality subject such as art or science. Classes are limited to 16 students and consists of a teaching team of joint Chinese and foreign lead teachers, Chinese assistant and caregiver.
