We are recruiting for Teachers of English to work on behalf the UK’S leading international education and culture organisation in Bangkok, Thailand. This is an exciting opportunity that will enable you to develop and broaden your academic and professional skills. If successful you will be working a 5 day week, a total of 37.5 hours per week.
In addition to teaching and lesson preparation you will be expected to maintain accurate student records; carry out other administrative tasks to given deadlines, participate in projects and attend meetings and training workshops. More information on the specifics of the role will be made available at interview.
Main Duties Include:
• Plan, prepare and deliver high quality English language teaching that meets the needs of different customer groups, taking into account individual learning styles
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help manage students’ performance throughout the course, and actively promote learner autonomy
• Contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of English language courses, materials and related services, in order to meet students’ needs by actively working as a member of the teaching team
• Actively engage in professional development and performance management to ensure quality and high standards in teaching and learning
• Support local marketing and promotional strategy, and assist the teaching centre team in delivering excellent customer service
Essential Criteria: To apply for the positions you MUST meet the client’s following requirements:
• Native English Speakers (or IELTS band of 8/9) from the UK ONLY (due to visa restrictions outside of the client’s control)
• Bachelor’s Degree (any subject but must be from an accredited university)
• CELTA/ Trinity cert TESOL certification (alternative qualifications are not accepted, even if they are considered ‘higher’ including an MA)
• 2 years’ EFL teaching experience (All experience MUST be post-qualification)
Package:
• Salary between 59,301 THB – 78,402 THB per month (after tax) depending on qualifications and experience + annual bonus scheme
• Single economy class airfares up to the cost of a London – Bangkok flight
• Baggage allowance of £1,200
• 35 days leave per annum plus 16 public holidays
• Medical Insurance program
• Settling-in allowance equivalent to two weeks’ salary for single employees, or three weeks’ salary for employees accompanied by family members
• Pension support
