Aston Yinchuan


We currently have three Aston English schools in Yinchuan and there is always a great team on hand to ask for advice, teach alongside with and to simply hang around with. Yinchuan Aston has always held together a friendly team and is always a fun community to be a part of.  


Working as a teacher you will have very manageable hours, and therefore a lot of free time to explore the many different treats Yinchuan has to offer, such as hiking the spectacular Helanshan Mountains, kayaking through the impressive Yellow River, visiting the Xia Tombs and many impressive pagodas and temples, or simply indulging in the local cuisine and Islamic culture that the city has to offer. BBQ food is extremely popular in Yinchuan, however the city has a varied cuisine with a number of traditional dishes that have become well known throughout China.  


A bus trip to the neighbouring city of Zhongwei will also lead you to the impressive dunes of Shapatou, which showcases impressive vistas whilst also giving you the chance to ride camels, drive dune buggies, go bungee jumping and sail boats down the yellow river. Flights are available from Yinchuan Hedong International Airport to locations across China ensuring that the metropolises of Beijing and Shanghai are easily accessible for vacations.
A highly attractive benefit of Yinchuan is the extremely low living cost in the city which enables our teachers to save, socialize and travel. The school currently employs nine other English teachers in the city so on your days off you and your new friends can explore the desert, visit the oldest part of the great wall or catch a flight to further afield destinations.

We are looking for native speakers of English from USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and South Africa. You must have a university degree (in any subject), clean criminal record and be between 21 and 55 years of age. Aston English’s student body consists mostly of students between the ages of 4 to 15 so you must enjoy the idea of teaching children and be enthusiastic and fun loving.
