F4/gyopo Teachers Needed in Gyeongsang Province
Starting date: positions starting ASAP, and in December
Location: Gyeongsang Provinces

Working hours: mon~fri : 2pm~10pm / sat : 10am~2pm
Teaching hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: 2.1million~2.3million
Qualifications: native speaker of English & fluent Korean
Accommodation: fully furnished apartment provided
Pension: collectable upon completion of contract
Health insurance: yes (50/50)
Severance pay: yes- (equal to one month¡¯s salary)
Flight Reimbursement: yes (within first paycheck)
Job Description:
JLS is a large educational company specializing in English education, with hundreds of locations throughout Korea and even in the United States. They are currently seeking qualified native-English speakers of Korean descent (with Korean fluency) to fill multiple positions across Gyeongsam-nam and Gyeongsam-buk Provinces, mostly in and around Busan and Daegu.
These schools are primarily staffed by Korean and Korean-American/Canadian/etc. teachers, as well as teachers of non-Korean descent. Qualified teacher candidates will be asked to interview via telephone or Skype, and are responsible for obtaining F4 working visas in time for the December start date. Interviews will be conducted in Korean and English.
All applicants will need to provide authenticated copies of their university diplomas, as well as criminal background checks from their home countries. Hands Korea will provide all the information related to the acquisition of these documents, and will be available to assist with any questions.
Teachers will work staggered schedules, from Monday through Saturday. Total teaching hours will not exceed 30 hours per week, and in the event the school asks you to work any hours exceeding 30 hours, an overtime pay rate will be applied.
English teachers will also be required to hold parent meetings, and provide parents of students with montly evaluations and and analysis of their students.
No prior teaching experience is needed, but a TESL/TEFL course certification is preferred. Training will be provided, and all newly-hired teachers will have the opportunity to speak with a representative of JLS before arriving in Korea.
Interviews will be held over the phone, and applicants will be notified of their employment status within a week of the interview.
