Position Overview:
- Students: Early Childhood / Elementary / Middle
- Duration: one year contract
- Location: throughout South Korea including Seoul and Gyeonggi Province
- Starting Dates: February 2012
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: a highly competitive monthly salary
- Housing: furnished, single housing provided
- Airfare: pre-paid, provided
- Severance: bonus upon completion of contract
- Medical Insurance: shared between campus and teacher
- Pension: pension payments matched by the campus
- Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per year
Ideal candidates are:
- willing to go above and beyond the requirements to help Korean students succeed
- excellent in interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- flexible and able to adjust as working and living in another culture will require
Teachers will:
- be part of a highly motivated team committed to teaching English to Korean children and youths
- engage students through curriculum that challenges them
- teach in classrooms using technology
- receive feedback from supervisors and participate in workshops and meetings for professional development
