English Language Teacher
English Language Teachers are required to teach various levels of English to Thai students. The language school is situated in Songkhla, a pretty town located just 30 minutes from Hat Yai which boasts good shopping, seafood, local markets, mountains, waterfalls and Thailand’s biggest lake. Come and experience the real Thailand away from the tourist trail and interact with friendly local people wanting to increase their knowledge of English and western culture.
Selection Process
1 To be considered for a position, applicants must send their resume including all qualifications, references and work history to theonesongkhla@gmail.com
2 Successful applicants will be required to provide documents such as passports, birth certificates, citizenship certificates and academic qualifications prior to employment. We will help organise your work visa should you wish to stay longer than one semester.
Desired Skills & Experience
Essential Criteria:
● Undergraduate degree
● Postgraduate TESOL qualification
● Thorough knowledge of English grammar
● Demonstrated ability to teach academic writing
● Ability to work collegially
● Intercultural awareness and sensitivity
Desirable criteria:
● Experience in teaching general/academic English language courses and/or field specific university preparation programs
● Experience in curriculum development
● Understanding of IELTS or other English language testing systems
● Expertise in intercultural communication
● Demonstrated experience in teaching young adults with reference to contemporary culture
Benefits:
● A year minimum contract, with option to extend
● Salaries start from 33,000-36,000 THB per month, not including overtime.
● The school will provide opportunities to travel around the province and experience Thai culture
