Fl Teaching Position

Shiyan No. 2 Middle School is located in the downtown area of Shiyan’s city center, and has nearly 5,000 students with a faculty of 395. It is the largest middle school under the Shiyan Education Bureau, and contains both junior and senior classes. The school campus covers 88,000 square meters, has a beautiful campus environment, excellent teaching facilities and is an ideal place for studying.

Shiyan city, located in Hubei province, has become famous for its automobile manufacturing industry and has become known as the “Oriental Detroit”. However, Shiyan is more than an industrial city. Boasting the Danjiangkou reservoir and the Shennongjia national forest, Shiyan is nestled in a small, mountainous region, proudly embracing the four seasons, with the famous Wudang mountain offering a historic experience to travelers. Shiyan city is the birthplace of Taoism and "Wudang martial arts", with the ancient buildings of Wudang Mountain being recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site.

We are looking for a qualified TEFL teacher for September 2013 to teach EFL to high school students.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Native English speaker from North America or the UK

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Sociology or Psychology

• TESL/TEFL/TESOL or CELTA certified

• At least two years of teaching experience

• Teachers College graduates preferred
