Foreign Teachers to Start September 2012 Onwards - Bundang, Seongnam, Gyeonggi-d
Offering 6 month and year long contracts
School: SeongNam English Town (SNET)
Location: Bundang, Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do.
Hours: 2 voluntary shift schedules (on 4 week rotations):
* Monday to Friday 8.30 am- 5.30 pm
* Tuesday- Friday 8.30-5.30, & Saturday- 9am- 5pm
*Sunday and Mondays off for the 4 week shift cycle.
*Evening Events: 8 shifts per 4 week shift cycle- 6.45pm -8.20pm
*Saturday programs held 2nd and 4th Saturday in each 4 weeks, 1st
and 3rd Saturdays off (therefore, 1st & 3rd weekends are 3 day
weekends). Subject to change due to reflect new school schedules.
Salary: Based on experience
* Zero/ less than 1 year: Offering 2.16 million Won per month
* 1 year +/ Master¡¦s degree: Offering 2.3 million Won per month.
Class size: Small groups of 12-15.
Age group: 6th grade students
Classrooms: 24 Situational rooms, practical, and experimental English focusing on the global citizen. Class examples: Cooking, Science, Music, World Festivals, P.E. etc.
Special & Customized Programs: Offered regularily on 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month (teachers on the Tues-Sat shift for those 4 weeks work these shifts). Other customized programs are elligble to all teachers at the OT rate. Students are private enrollment, ages 11-15, sometimes adults.
Winter/Summer Camps: 3-4 week special programs during Summer and Winter breaks. Ages: 11-15.
Contracts:
* 6 month contracts: Offering 3 paid sick days, and 2 weeks paid
vacation- 1 week predetermined (either Chuseok or
Seolnal), one week free to choose (except during
Winter and Summer camp season).
* 1 year contracts: Offering 6 paid sick days, 4 weeks paid vacation- 2
weeks predetermined (Chuseok and Seolnal) and 2
weeks free to choose (except during Winter and
Summer camp season).
Orientation: 1 week paid.
Meal Allowance: 3 meals per day Monday - Friday at 3,000 Won per meal in addition to salary.
Over Time: Not mandatory, but OT available (volunteer basis). Regular working days 20,000 Won per hour, Saturdays 150,000 Won/ day, and Sundays, 200,000 Won/ day.
Living Space: Communal environment, maximum 2 teachers sharing a dormitory style room with a private shared bathroom. No pets.
