Immediate opening for a native English speaker from Canada, America, England, Australia or New Zealand at Engpower English School in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China starting in September or October. Location of the Terra Cotta Warriors and an intact city wall, Xi'an is a center of ancient history and culture - you will see the real China here. The cost of living is low, people are friendly and services are great. Xi'an is the center of education for central and northwest China and has many universities. International airport and a key railway hub.
All ages and language levels. Busy on weekends. Quality oriented English training school with North American management (we treat you right! – try our professional western management for a real difference – honest, organized, accommodating ), and professional curriculum development - excellent student manuals, activity books and VCD support. A native English speaker and a bilingual Chinese/English teacher support our classes.
We provide very high quality curriculum with an organized education program, artistically designed textbooks, activity books and VCD audio-visual support.
Some Features of the Contract
your supervisor is a western education professional
1 or 2 year contract
4500-6000rmb per month (dependent on qualifications and teaching hours)
visa and other 'entry into China' expenses
travel allowance (varies with length of contract)
10 paid vacation days per year
$1200US end of contract bonus
accommodation provided (includes heater, air conditioner, TV, microwave, refrigerator, ADSL Internet access, washer, local phone)
basic accident insurance
additional medical care up to 1500rmb
15rmb food allowance for each full working day
paid monthly local tourism
introductory Chinese lessons
sick leave
A TESOL certificate is required. Applicants must be first language English speakers, bright, innovative, hardworking team-players who are professionally minded educators. No age restrictions or preferences. No marital status restrictions.
