About the city of Wuxi:

Wuxi is located in Jiangsu Province, Eastern China, between Nanjing and Shanghai, which are each about an hour's drive away and connected to Wuxi by high speed train and frequent bus service. Located near the Yangtze River and beautiful Tai Lake, its founding dates back more than 3000 years. Wuxi is famous for its education and sightseeing resorts. GDP ranks Wuxi in the top 10 cities of China, making it a visibly prosperous city. The people are friendly and Wuxi enjoys a very low crime rate.

About us:

Jinqiao Experimental Kindergarten has 1200 students and 120 staff members (including foreign staff), and is certified as one of China¡¯s Top 100 Kindergartens in 2010.

Duties of the teacher:

1. Teaching English to students;

2. Class sizes are about 30 students, aged from 3-5 for kindergarten, 40 students for the others.

3. Joining event or promotion activities (Christmas eg.);

4. Maximum 20 teaching hours a week;

5. 1 office hours for planning class or decorating classroom a day.

6. Greeting children in the morning for kindergarten.

7. Paid English corner (free talking) for 40 minutes every Thursday.

Desired qualifications required:

1. Native English speakers only;

2. No criminal record;

3. Good health to be able to work in China;

4. Bachelor degree or above;

5. Possessing good communication skills with children;

6. Possessing certificates of TESL\TESOL\TEFL

6.At least 2 years of teaching experience with reference;

7. Knowledge of mandarin is an asset.
