Full-time English Teachers Needed in Cixi City

Cixi City, China – US-Canada International English School is hiring full time English teachers for a one year, renewable contract. Committed, professional and enthusiastic teachers are encouraged to join this progressive school.

North American teachers with a teaching degree and/or ESL experience are encouraged to apply.

Cixi City is located just across the bay from beautiful Shanghai, and is situated between Hangzhou and Ningbo. Accommodations are within walking distance and the inviting neighbourhood includes numerous local and foreign cuisine options.

The teaching package is for one year. US-Canada International English School ensures that students and teachers are well cared for, thus an excellent salary is offered.

Teaching hours: Maximum of 40 hours per week/5 days per week. This includes substantial preparation time. Overtime pay for additional hours/days worked. The school is open 7 days/week; however, teachers are only expected to work 5 out of 7 days.

Benefits :

• 10,000 – 15,000 RMB monthly salary (based on qualifications and experience)

Qualifications:

• Must be Native English speaker from US or Canada

• Minimum requirement: Bachelors degree with TEFL/TESOL certificate

• Teacher’s college degree is preferred

• Experience in ESL, ECE, camp counselling, and childcare is an advantage

• Must have an outgoing personality with a passion for inspiring students to learn

• Confident and able to control the classes

• Capable of playing musical instruments (guitar preferred) and or singing/dancing is preferred.
