Position Summary:
Full-time instructor position for School Year 2016-2017 teaching general education courses.

About the University:
LNU-MSU College of International Business is located in the coastal city of Dalian in Liaoning Province of northeast China. It is an educational cooperation between Missouri State University of the USA and Liaoning Normal University of China.

Liaoning Normal University (LNU) and Missouri State University (MSU) established the LNU-MSU College of International Business (CIB) in 2000. All classes are taught in English.

The four-year Bachelor of Science degree program in Dalian is accredited by the Ministry of Education, People's Republic of China and the Higher Learning Commission and AACSB in the United States. The goal of this educational partnership is to increase cultural and educational exchange, and to promote friendship and understanding between the United States, China, and other countries.

About the job:
Full-time faculty teach 15 lecture hours and hold 5 office hours per week. Faculty typically teach five sections of a single course. Interaction with students outside the classroom is encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
12,240-14,280 CNY (RMB) / month (after tax).

The University will provide each faculty member with:
Assistance obtaining Chinese work permit and visa
Round-trip ticket: One-way airfare to Dalian and upon completion of contract a return ticket
Insurance: Accident & Critical Illness Insurance (In-Patient), Accident Insurance (Out-Patient), & Accidental Death and Dismemberment
An apartment near or on campus (subject to availability), or 2,500RMB/month housing allowance

Requirements:
A Master's degree in the subject (or a closely related field) the applicant is applying to teach, and two or more years of work experience (teaching experience at the University or College level preferred)
Experience with students for whom English is a second language is helpful, but not required.
While Chinese language skills may also be helpful, a competent English-speaking support staff is available.
