Full-time Lecturers in Tesol Needed in Chongqing

We are inviting applications for full time Lecturers in TESOL to begin:

March 1, 2015 (SPRING SEMESTER)

September 1, 2015 (FALL SEMESTER)

Chongqing University is ranked 28th out of 2,236 university and colleges in China. At present, Chongqing University has 28 colleges, a Graduate School, the City College of Science and Technology, the College of Continuing Education, and the College of Networking Education. The University now has a total enrollment of 50,000 students.

Position: ESL Instructor

Contractual: One year renewable based on performance

Hours: 14 to 16 hours per week on average

Teaching: Introductory courses on cultures of English-speaking countries and

spoken English training for undergraduate students

Salary: Competitive salary and negotiable

Allowance: Travel allowance provided each semester

Vacation: 1 1/2 months paid vacation for Winter, 1 1/2 months for Summer, plus public holidays

Housing: Free furnished two-bedroom apartment provided, a 5 minute walk from the University

Medical: Basic medical care provided at no cost

Language: Chinese language training provided by School of Foreign Languages and Culture

Orientation: Orientation to Chongqing and University provided

Airline Ticket: Round-trip airline ticket reimbursed at the end of the contract.

Qualifications: MA in Applied Linguistics/TESOL/Culture Studies/Social Sciences preferred, but

candidates with a BA and 2-3 years ESL teaching experience will be considered.
