Full Time Native English Teacher

IB Waseda learning center is an education organization located in Suzhou (SND), a city 80km away from Shanghai. For the past 6 years we have been providing language education (English, Chinese, Japanese) in addition to other subjects to expats living in China. Our students range from pre-school to adult students.

With the increase in demand of our students, we would like to hire additional native English speaking teachers to our existing teaching staff starting at the end of March 2012.

Expectations and tasks

Be an English Instructor

Arrange, organize and participate in English salon activities

Assist the department head in arranging curriculum, marketing materials, preparing teaching materials, recruiting etc..

Teach off-site if needed

Teaching hours: maximum of 6 classes per day and 8 hours per day, no more than 25 classes per week

Ideally currently reside in Suzhou, China

Requirements

Be a Native English speaker

Have a minimum of bachelor degree from a respectful university in a relevant major

Teaching English as a second language or relevant certificate a plus

Compensation

Monthly base salary 6000RMB based on experience (see below)

1 year of teaching experience add - 1000RMB

2 years of teaching experience add - 1500RMB

Ability to speak Chinese add - 500 RMB

Ability to speak Japanese add - 1000 RMB

Housing allowance - 2000 RMB per month
