Government Sponsored Teaching Programme in Central China

The Anhui Teaching Exchange (ATE) program is aimed at providing International Educators to communities throughout Anhui Province.

Sponsored by the Anhui Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs, the ATE program is fully compliant with all P.R.C. State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs regulations and standards regarding the employment of Foreign nationals in the P.R.C (2018).

We are currently interviewing for roles throughout the province in Primary, Middle and&nbs p;Senior Schools.

On behalf of the relevant staff and honoured Leadership of the Anhui Education Bureau and the Anhui Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs, we would like to welcome all qualified candidates to apply to this program. Independent Complaints procedure - Orientation Package

Airport pickup upon arrival, free hotel accommodation during your first week orientation in Hefei. You will receive help setting up a bank account, SIM card, WeChat, Alipay etc. We ensure all apartments are decorated to a high standard, including WIFI, household goods, air conditioning, etc. We additionally offer Bi weekly mandarin lessons and free of charge cultural excursions around Anhui province.
Candidates are requested to provide their preferred age group and location (Kindergarten, Primary, Middle or Senior. Rural village through to large cities with 7million plus pop'.)

We will assist you, starting with visa document preparation, visa application and your initial arrival into China.

We additionally offer a 24hr helpline throughout your stay in China, in addition to an independent complaints procedure for peace of mind in case of any problems or issues.

The 24hr English speaking helpline is operated by authorised personnel from the Anhui Provincial Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs (Anhui - SAFEA).

Positions throughout the Province, wide range of age groups

Your place of work may be in a school, Office of Education, English training centre or any other educational institute that has been authorised and certified by the afore mentioned Provincial Government departments. Duties will involve assisting local teachers with their English classes, and/or jointly conduct English classes with local teachers, and/or extracurricular activities.
Authorised schools currently on the ATE program range from kindergarten to senior schools.
Variable contract lengths ranging from 6-12 months. 2nd year resigning bonus.

Job Description for Teachers

To conduct English classes for Anhui students
To prepare teaching materials for English language education.
To assist in developing teaching materials for English language education.
To assist with activities related to English language education and other extracurricular activities.
To demonstrate a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
To perform other duties as specified by the Provincial Education Bureau and Anhui State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs

Due to Government legislation â€“ all candidatesMUST meet the following requirements.
Unfortunately there are no exceptions.

*    UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South African Citizenship.
*    Educated to Bachelors degree or above, in one of the above countries. (degree certificate and transcript required).
*    TEFL/CELTA Certificate of 120 Hours or more
*    Criminal Record Check (or equivalent).
*    Recent Medical Examination (within 6 months)

All participating schools and institutions are authorised and checked by the Anhui Provincial Education Bureau or the Anhui State Administration of Foreign Affairs. This ensures that all schools are aware of their requirements and responsibilities prior to ATE teachers arrival and guarantees set standards in workload, responsibilities and working practices.
