Grade 11 Math and Physics Teacher required for Ontario Accredited International School in China - February 2012
Overview: Ontario Accredited high school in China, requires an accelerated Grade 11 Math and Physics Teacher to join their team of Canadian teachers in China and teach international and Chinese students the Ontario Math/Physics curriculum in English.
Location: China – Shenzen (located 20 minutes by train to Beijing)
Contract Terms: Contract begins February 2012 and is one semester (Feb to end of June) contract, with an option to renew.
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual salary is 195 000 RMB
Furnished 1 bedroom apartment provided either on campus or walking distance to the school
Medical insurance and an additional 500 RMB/month for medical costs
Visa covered by the school
Half of roundtrip airfare will be reimbursed due to the short contract length
Candidate Profile and Qualifications:
Native speaker of English or have native-speaker English competence
Be eligible for the membership in the Ontario College of Teachers
Be a team-player, flexible,
Be qualified to teach Grade 11 Math and Physics
Must be less than 55 years old to be eligible for a Visa
Able to demonstrate a successful professional and academic history
School Overview:
The school is a larger Chinese school that offers the Ontario curriculum program for Grades 10-12.
They offer a full high school program for Chinese and international students who intend on pursuing their studies in Canada following their graduation. Graduates from our school program will have successfully completed the Ontario curriculum graduation program in English, are issued Ontario Certificate of Graduation.
