POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

Grades K-8 English (2 classes)
• 15 classroom hours/week
• 6 office hours/week
• You will be assigned 2 classes between kindergarten and 8th grade which you will stay with for the entire school year
No more than 20 students in each class
Teachers teach only a half day at the Elementary school
Monday-Friday work schedule from 7:50am-12:15pm or 1:00pm-4:20pm
Salary: 10,000 RMB/month “take-home pay”

• 25 classroom hours/week
• You will be assigned 3 classes between kindergarten and 8th grade which you will stay with for the entire school year
• No more than 20 students in each class
• Monday-Friday work schedule from 7:50am-4:20pm or 9:00am-4:20pm
Salary: 15,000 RMB/month “take-home pay”

PAY AND BENEFITS:
-10,000 -15,000 RMB/month “take-home pay”
-1000 RMB/month bonus for applicants with a Master’s degree in Education or a
government issued teaching credential
-Annual performance-based bonus available
-Airfare reimbursement up to 7500 RMB
-Accident Insurance
-Fully furnished western style apartment close to campus (including utilities)
-High efficiency air cleaners in all classrooms and school supplied housing
-Daily transportation between home and work provided or paid for
-Over 6 weeks of paid vacation days including 1 month during Spring Festival
-10% average increase in base-pay for teachers returning the following year (up to 3 years)
-Group Mandarin lessons

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelors Degree
-Native English speaker with North American accent
-A teaching certificate (ESL)
-2 years relevant teaching experience and references
-Minimum age of 25

NOTE: Beijing now requires teachers applying for the Foreign Expert Visa to supply a Criminal Background Check with proof of no prior criminal record through your local police department. More information on this process can be found on your state's website.

Carden China teaches using the Carden Method®, an American teaching method. We can only accept native-English speakers from North America.
