The World Foreign Language Middle School is also in need of general science teachers for the middle years' program. The ideal teachers possess a degree in science and teaching certification. While teaching experience is required, teaching certification requirement may be waived for experienced teachers with expertise in general science.

The Xuhui District is generally seen as one of the most important education areas in Shanghai. The school is privately run and implements the I.B.O. 4. PYP Teachers for Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School (WFLPS, IB)
Founded in 1993, the Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School has three Departments. These are: the Local Department, the International Department and the PYP Department (International Baccalaureate Organization Primary Years' Program).
The school is located in central Shanghai in the Xuhui District. The International Baccalaureate Organization has recognized the PYP Department as part of the IB Program since 2007. It was the first Chinese school to achieve this recognition.
The School's mission is to produce students who have a competitive edge academically and who have the ability to contribute in a significant way both within China and internationally.
We require several teachers to work in the PYP Department in Fall 2012. The ideal candidates possess either a degree in education, teaching certification in their home country, or a degree in English or Linguistics. Teaching experience is highly valued, but recent education majors, who have done student teaching as part of their university course work are encouraged to apply.

The International Section is another department within the World Foreign Language Primary School. Its mission is to increase English proficiency to elementary school students within a Chinese curriculum.
We need several teachers to begin in Fall 2012. The ideal teacher is a recent graduate with some teaching experience and TESOL certification. The school will consider interested applicants with little experience who have demonstrated an ability to live in another country and have interest in other cultures.
