1. SAT and ESL Teacher for High School Students at the Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School (WFLMS)
Established in August 1996, Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School is located in the southwestern part of the Xuhui District in Shanghai. The Xuhui District is generally seen as one of the most important education areas in Shanghai. The WFLMS is privately run and implements the I.B. (International Baccalaureate) curriculum.
Serving grades 6-12, the School’s mission is to produce students who have a competitive edge academically and have the ability to contribute to society in meaningful way, both locally and internationally. A. IB-US Program Department (International Baccalaureate – US Program Center)
A revolutionary joint-degree program established in cooperation with Brandon Hall School in Atlanta, GA, the WFLMS is unique for having an IB US Program Center housed on campus. The USPC is devoted to helping Chinese students prepare for post-secondary education in the United States. Besides organizing exchange programs, the USPC offers college test preparation and counseling services for the US college application process.
We require 1 SAT/ESL teacher who will be able to work in the IB-US Program Department, grades 10-12, starting ASAP.
Ideal candidates have the following qualifications/characteristics:
• College graduate
• Experience with TOEFL, SAT, or other college entry exam courses
• 1-2 years of teaching experience is preferred
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certification (or other equivalent level of cert.)
• Native English speaker

2. Art Teacher for High School Students at Shanghai Shixi High School
Located in the central Jing’an district of Shanghai, Shixi High School is one of the first experimental and exemplary high schools designated by the Shanghai Education Commission. In 2013, Shixi High School became an IB-DP (International Baccalaureate – Diploma Program) candidate school, and is now on its way to becoming an IB World School.
Shixi High School is an experimental base for the cultivation and creativity of Shanghai high school students. Shixi stresses the training of students’ abilities and sees to it that the students’ interests and innovative spirits are brought into play. Shixi High School also boasts a beautiful and well-facilitated campus in the central district of Shanghai. Students and staff have access to science laboratories, psychological consulting rooms, and other dedicated classrooms.
A. IB-DP Department (International Baccalaureate – Diploma Program)
Designed specifically for high school students (grades 10-12), the Diploma Program (DP) is the highest level of the IB curriculum. The DP is an academically challenging and balanced program of education with final examinations that prepares students for success at university and life beyond. It has been designed to address the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical well-being of students.
We require 1 Art teacher who will be able to teach in the IB-DP Department, grades 10-12, starting November 10, 2014.
Ideal candidates have the following qualifications/characteristics:
• A major/degree in Art (or a related field)
• At least 2 years of Art-related teaching experience is preferred
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certification (or other equivalent level of cert.)
• Teaching credentials are preferred
• Native English speaker is preferred

3. Homeroom Teacher for Primary School Students at the Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School (WFLPS)
Located in the Xuhui district of central Shanghai and founded in 1993, the Shanghai WFLPS has three departments: Local, International, and IB-PYP (International Baccalaureate - Primary Years Program). The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) has recognized the PYP Department as part of the IB Program since 2007, making it the first Chinese school to achieve this recognition.

A. IB-PYP Department (International Baccalaureate – Primary Years Program)
The IB Primary Years Program (PYP) is a curriculum framework designed for students in grades 1-5. It focuses on the development of the whole child as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the world outside. It is defined by six transdisciplinary themes of global significance, explored using knowledge and skills derived from six subject areas, with a powerful emphasis on inquiry-based learning.
We require 1 homeroom teacher who will be able to work in the IB-PYP Department, grades 1-5, starting November 10, 2014.
Ideal candidates have the following qualifications/characteristics:
• A degree in Education (or teaching certification in their home country)
• No TEFL/TESOL/CELTA required if certified
• At least 1-2 years of relevant teaching experience
• Career teacher
• Native English speaker
• Recent Education majors, who have done student teaching as part of their university coursework, are also encouraged to apply.

4. SAT and College Test Preparation Teacher at the U-Learn Training Center in People’s Square (Shanghai)
Founded in Fall 2013, the U-Learn Test Preparation Center in People’s Square is a state-of-the-art facility designed to broaden U-Learn’s ability to provide complementary and core educational services to students in Shanghai. In addition to college consulting services, employees at this training center will be offering SAT and TOEFL test preparation classes in order to help Chinese students improve their test scores as well as understand the logic and methodology of American standardized tests.
We require 1 TOEFL/SAT teacher who will be able to work in this brand new training facility starting ASAP.
Ideal candidates have the following qualifications/characteristics:
• US College graduate
• TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certified (or other equivalent degree)
• 1-2 years of teaching experience is preferred
• Knowledge of the SAT or TOEFL tests is preferred
• Candidates with previous high SAT scores are also encouraged to apply

5. US Program Business and Education Intern at U-Learn Headquarters
This is a groundbreaking opportunity for an ambitious, creative, and driven recent college graduate to work closely with the Director and CEO of a fast-growing educational services company that develops and delivers a wide range of educational products for Chinese students who are interested in studying abroad.
The US Program Business & Education Intern will assist in college consulting to Chinese high school students, SAT, TOEFL, and test-preparation classes and workshops, management and HR activities, and any other specific areas of interest – all while gaining first-hand insight into the field of education and education management in one of the world’s fastest growing education markets.
Following a successful internship, an intern can be promoted to a management, consulting, or teaching position, depending on the intern’s qualifications and preference.
