1. U.S. Program History Teacher for Suzhou

U-Learn Education Group runs the U.S. Program at schools in Shanghai and Suzhou. The goal of the program is to help students gain admissions to American universities.

We need a history teacher for Suzhou U.S. Program for high school students.

History Teacher Duties and Tasks:

1) Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate and/or graduate students on topics such as ancient history.

2) Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.

3) Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.

4) Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others.

5) Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.

Qualifications:

1. A major in the subject they are teaching

2. 2 years teaching experience is preferred

3. Teaching credentials are preferred

4. TESOL/TEFL/CELTA Certification (or other equivalent cert.)

5. Likeable personality

6. Native English Speakers from North America, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand with Bachelor’s degree

2. ESL Teachers for Suzhou public schools

Suzhou is a magnificent city of contrasts. On the one hand, the city boasts a new industrial park with modern buildings and state-of-the-art comforts. On the other hand, the ancient part has some of China’s oldest canals and gardens, which have earned the city the nickname of “The Venice of the East”.

We require several ESL teachers to complement the English curriculum at various schools. The ideal candidates are recent college graduates with TESOL certification and some experience. Experience can be waived for strong recent graduates with the energy and lust for foreign travel.

Qualifications:

1. College graduate (no specific major required for ESL teacher)

2. TESOL/TEFL/CELTA Certified (or other equivalent degree)

3. 1-2 years teaching experience is preferred

4. Native English Speakers from North America, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand with Bachelor’s degree.

Teachers should be dynamic, enthusiastic individuals and create an active learning atmosphere.

3. U.S. Program Assistant Manager

This role will be based in Shanghai/Suzhou but all will also work from our Shanghai office.

The job purpose is to teach the SAT/TOEFL to Chinese students to enable these students to sit these tests for admission into American educational institutions and to promote the US Programs within the Shanghai/Suzhou district.

You will be required to:

• Teach the SAT/TOEFL curriculum to Chinese students.

• Undertake promotional work associated with the US Programs.

• To provide a US High School and college placement consultancy service.

• To provide advice and support on business growth and development.

For this position you will need to have:

• U.S. citizenship

• Detailed knowledge of the SAT/TOEFL test and U.S. college admission processes

• Degree-level education from an American university (recent graduate)

• Diploma from an American high school
