These include some of the top schools in Shanghai, possibly even in China itself. There are two IB schools in Shanghai, and one High School in Suzhou where our US college programs will be offered. We want to fill the following positions from Feb 5th 2012:
1. PYP Teacher x1 (World Foreign Language Primary School Shanghai) Immediately
2. U.S. Program Assistant Manager / Suzhou x1 (Shanghai/Suzhou)
3. ESL teacher x1 ( Suzhou Singapore Industrial Park schools )
1. PYP Teacher Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School (WFLPS, IB School)
Founded in 1993 The Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School has three Departments. These are the Local Department, the International Department and the PYP Department (International Baccalaureate Organisation Primary Years Program).
The school is located in central Shanghai in the Xuhui District. The PYP Department has been recognized by the International Baccalaureate Organization in 2007 as part of the IB program. It was the first Chinese school to achieve this recognition.
The School’s mission is to produce students who have a competitive edge academically and who have the ability to contribute in a significant way both within China and internationally.
We require a teacher to teach in the PYP Department and another to teach in the International Section. For PYP you will need to have a teaching or Education degree and we would welcome enquiries from recent graduates.

2. U.S. Program Assistant Manager (Shanghai/Suzhou)
This role will be based in Suzhou but will also work from our Shanghai office. Suzhou is a one hour drive out of Shanghai. It is a city of 6.5 million people and is known as the ‘Venice of the East’ as it is located on the ancient Grand Canal and is a city steeped in history.
The job purpose is to teach the SSAT, SAT and IBT curriculum to Chinese students to enable these students to sit these tests for admission into American educational institutions and to promote the US Programs within the Suzhou district.
You will be required to:
• Teach the SSAT, SAT and IBT curriculum to Chinese students.
• Undertake promotional work associated with the US Programs.
• To provide a US High School and college placement consultancy service.
• To provide advice and support on business growth and development.
For this position you will need to have:
• U.S. citizenship
• Detailed knowledge of the SAT test and U.S. college admission processes
• Degree-level education from an American university (recent graduate)
• Diploma from an American high school

3. ESL Teachers for Suzhou
Suzhou is a one hour drive out of Shanghai. It is a city of 6.5 million people and is known as the ‘Venice of the East’ as it is located on the ancient Grand Canal and is a city steeped in history.
We require two teachers for start from Feb. We are looking for ESL teachers with demonstrated experience, preferably with a TESOL certificate, and a Bachelor’s degree or better.
