Department:Academic Department; Curriculum Development Team

Location:Chaoyang District, Beijing, China

Position:Curriculum Developer (Full Time)

Start Date:Immediately

Schedule:Monday to Friday 9 am to 5pm

Salary:Starting at 14,000 (Negotiable)



Responsibilities:

- Developing lesson guides utilizing Best Learning course objectives and education methodology.

- Composing materials (including but not limited to the following):

 Worksheets

 Flashcards

 Games

 PowerPoint and Smart Notebook interactive presentations

 Assessments

- Academic research on course topics and classroom instruction techniques

- Making presentations on education topics



Qualifications/Skills:

- At least 1 year ESL teaching experience in a school or training center in China

- Bachelor’s of Arts degree from a humanities program

- Competency in ESL teaching methodology and techniques

- TEFL, TOEFL, or TESOL certification

- Strong technical writing skills

- Proficiency in:

 Word

 Adobe Photoshop (or other graphics software)

 PowerPoint

 Smart Notebook 11

 Movie and sound editing software

 Adobe Acrobat

- Ability to work independently

- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously



******Preferred Qualifications/Skills******:

- Advanced degree in Education

- Previous curriculum development experience

- Previous experience teaching United States elementary school curriculum

- Knowledge of Common Core State Standards (CCSS)
