We are Connect2Chengdu, a company designed to help you find your adventure teaching English in Chengdu. Connect2Chengdu was started by friends who met whilst teaching in Chengdu, and had a great time, we want to pass that sense of fun, and adventure on to other people, and realize what fun can be had in South west China. There is a great pace of life that isn’t seen in most other places in China, so If you want to experience some proper Chinese culture like drinking tea, and playing mahjong, or if you want to let your hair down and party in some of Chengdu’s numerous bars or clubs, or just enjoy some creature comforts from home, then Chengdu is the place for you, it is a great place to enjoy and properly experience China. It is also the perfect base to travel, you can easily discover what Western China has to offer, in provinces such as Yunnan, or Tibet, or you can head to South East Asia. We offer a fantastic and competitive package. Our salaries start at 7,000RMB and move up to 15,000RMB per month. In a country like China, where the average wage is 2,500 RMB per month, you will find that these Salaries can go a long way, so if you want to save money, travel, party, whatever, you can do it when you work with us. The working hours are pretty flexible, giving you time to discover Chengdu and Sichuan, on your own terms, there is also generous holiday time too, so you can explore at will. Good quality accommodation is also provided, so you don't have any headaches or worries when it comes to finding a place to stay, or thinking about paying rent. It’s covered. So what will you do when your income is totally disposable? We also offer contract completion bonuses, NOT contract renewal bonuses, which seem to be increasingly on the rise in China. These bonuses are open to negotiation, and will depend on your experience and performance, ask us to find out more

We know that visas can be some of the most stressful issues about life in China, So we will be there to support you throughout the whole process, and will help provide all the permits, and invitation letters needed, meaning you don't have to worry about anything.

We also offer a fantastic orientation program to help you get settled to life in Chengdu. This means you don't have to worry about how or where you will meet people, or how you will find your feet, and know about some of the great things on offer in Chengdu. Our orientation program is designed to be the foundations for your time in China, it is then up to you to build your life on those and make some amazing memories in Chengdu. There is a huge list of things included in this orientation package, from accommodation, to food, to tours of Chengdu, to social events, and so much more. This means that for your first 10 days in Chengdu you don't have to worry about anything apart from having a good time.
