Taiyuan No.5 Middle School, one of the best middle schools in China, located in Taiyuan, Shanxi, China, is seeking some energetic and experienced teachers to join our international department. We are looking for teachers who are qualified in delivering the GAC academic English and computer.

The Global Assessment Certificate program(GAC) is a tertiary preparation program designed to meet the needs of students who wish to qualify for entry to colleges and universities in which English is the medium of instruction. The purpose of the program is not only to provide students with an entry qualification to universities on a global basis but also to equip students with knowledge, skills and competencies in order for them to succeed at university.

Application requirement:
English Native speaker: UK, USA, NZ, AUST, Canada
TEFL/TESL/TESOL certification
Bachelor¡¯s degree in Linguistics /Computer or relevant fields will also be considered
2-3 years teaching experience
Academic English (Reading and Writing) and Computer teaching experience is a strong asset
Ability to teach additional subjects (e.g. Academic English, computer, business, science, or math) is a strong asset
High priority will be given to GAC Academic English, maths, science, computer and business high school experienced teachers.

Teaching conditions and benefits:
Basic Salary: (10000-15000 RMB), depending on experience and teaching skills
Teaching hours: 20 hours a week, office hours: 5 hours per week
Location: Taiyuan, Shanxi, China
Contract term: One year commitment at least
6000RMB Flight reimbursement
12 months health and accident insurance for a one-year contract
A legal Z Work Visa and Expert Certificate provided
Chinese National Holidays

Taiyuan, as the capital of Shanxi province which is well-known of its scenic spots and historical sites, is just 2.5 hours from Beijing. And the cost of living in Taiyuan is not very high.
