Overview: Our client located in Beijing is currently seeking a High School Principal for the 2012-2013 school year. The school offers AP courses and a Sino-British program. AP courses are for Grade 10, 11 and 12 students in Math, Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, History, and Social Studies. New AP course will be added in the next academic year. The High School Principal will have administrative and teaching experience, as well as experience with the International school system. The Principal will be responsible for the teachers and staff in the international division of the school.
Location: Beijing, China
Contract Dates: 2 year contract beginning August 2012, with the option to renew
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary in excess of RMB 250K/month depending on experience
Salary paid for the entire calendar year
Flight allowance
Health Insurance
Accommodation provided
Meals provided on campus in campus cafeteria
2 weeks training upon arrival
On-going professional development
Qualifications Required:
Bachelors Degree in Education; Masters Degree preferred
5+ years’ administrative experience within an educational institution
5+ years’ experience as a teacher
Experience in Advanced Placement
Previous international work experience, specifically in a school with combined International and Local divisions
Native English Proficiency
Proficient use of SMART Board and other technology used in the classroom
Serious academic professionals who are high energy, motivated, culturally sensitive and have a desire to work in a diverse environment
Minimum of 3 recent professional references from previous supervisors
