High School Teaching & Administration Positions Opening in Various Cities

About the program: Balboa City School (BCS), a small private school in San Diego has joined with Aston Educational Group(AEG) to provide a college preparatory program in China. Our program is designed for Chinese High School students that will be attending college in the US or other English speaking countries. The program combines traditional US High School courses with TOEFL, and SAT preparation to prepare students for college abroad while allowing them to earn a US High School Diploma and a Chinese High School Diploma.

The focus of the program is to prepare the students to study in an English speaking college and improve their ability to be accepted into the best US and International colleges.

Job Description: Teach US accredited courses to Chinese High School students, courses including Introduction to English Literature, World Literature, American Literature, British Literature, Composition, Economics, American Government, and US history. Teachers are expected to utilize standard US curriculum, textbooks and utilize classroom PowerPoint presentations. Teachers are expected to grade and keep detailed grade records for all students. Teachers will also participate in weekly teacher meetings, conference calls with Balboa City School, Chinese High School functions, student activities and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

We require:

*American, age 25 to 45

*Teachers with a Bachelor's degree, prefer Bachelor's degree in teaching or related topics to subjects taught: American Literature, Composition, American History, Economics or related degrees

*Minimum of 2 years work experience post Bachelor's degree

*Need TEFL Certification and candidates with ESL teaching experience will be given priority.

Compensation:

Teaching position:

11 Month 25 Hrs/Wk

Salary 10K-13K RMB/month

Hours/Week 25

Teaching Days/Wk 5 (off weekends)

OT 100 RMB/hr for over 25 hours per week

Completion Bonus 1500USD

11 Month 40 Hrs/Wk(which include appx. 15 teaching hours)
