About Our School

Nasdaken International English Training Center was founded in Yancheng in 2009, and then quickly expanded to Xuzhou. Yancheng and Xuzhou are both located in Jiangsu province. Our ability to provide an effective and competitive solution for English language instruction is reflected in our growth over the past years. Every year,thousands of students learn and improve their English with us.The NIE learning method is featured with its emphasis on individualized learning, as well as advanced multi-media course ware, small classes and qualified ESL teachers.

We are now seeking ESL teachers for our growing centers both in Yancheng and Xuzhou (www.ycnasdaken.com). Currently we have a dynamic teaching team of 15 ESL teachers from all over the world, and we work together like a family. All of our staff are super supportive so it would make your transition into China much easier. It is these people which will be one of your greatest memories of China.

About Our Students

NIE has a wide range of students, from kids to adults. All of them are eager to learn and hard working. You can choose your own experience:

Nasdaken International Kids' English: Kids are aged from 5 to 12 years old. NIE focuses on developing the kids' interests and ideas in English.

Nasdaken International English Training Center: Our students range from 13 to 45 years old. 60% of them are between 13 to 18 years of age, and the rest are professional adults from all walks of life. NIE emphasizes personalized learning, and makes great effort to help students develop four core English learning skills in a natural and authentic context.

About Our Cities

Yancheng

Yancheng is a beautiful city located just to the north of Shanghai and to the east of Nanjing. Yancheng is a great place to live and travel from as everywhere in China is accessible via our bus and train stations or via our airport. The city is very beautiful and has undergone much development in the past 5 years. Global brands such as Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Apple, H&M, IMAX, METRO and McDonalds etc. can be found throughout the city. At night city streets and buildings light up, which makes our city particularly beautiful. Yancheng is also home to some beautiful (and endangered) wildlife such as the red-crowned crane and Pere David's deer. Yancheng has a temperate climate with fairly mild winters and distinctly tropical late summers. The cuisine of Yancheng originates from Huai Yang cuisine, one of the most famous cuisines in China. There is a small but friendly and close-knit foreign community here. Many of them have lived in Yancheng for years thanks to the affordable cost of living and abundant opportunities.

Xuzhou

Xuzhou is the biggest city in the Northern part of Jiangsu, located to the north of Shanghai. It covers an area of 11,258 square kilometers with the total population of more than 8 million. The original name of Xuzhou is 'Pengcheng', with 6000 years of splendid culture. Because it is one of China's best showcases for the arts, archaeology and history of the Han Dynasty, Xuzhou gets the nickname 'Eastern Athens'. Xuzhou is historically called the cross-road of five provinces. It now has a complete transportation system of air, rail, highways and waterways which brings great convenience to travelers and business people. As a beautiful city with a long history, Xuzhou embraces many historical sites and places of interest, highlights include Tombs of Han Dynasty, Yulong Scenic Spot and Han Dynasty Terracotta Warriors. The weather is quite nice. Four seasons are distinctive here. The average temperature year round is 14 degrees Celsius.

About Our Renumeration and Benefits

35 working hours for 5 days with a maximum of 25 teaching hours every week.

1) Salary: RMB9000-RMB12000 per month (negotiable for well qualified candidates)

2) Housing allowance: RMB1500 per month

3) Airfare Allowance: RMB8000 after 1 year contract completion

4) Holidays: 11 Chinese statutory holidays, 5 days Annual leave (paid) and 1 paid holiday for Christmas

5) China work visa & Expert Certificate & Residency Permit

6) Medial Insurance

Responsibiltiies

1) Teach children in their English foundation

2) Teach adult students in both general and business English

3) Revise or develop the pre-written curricula

4) Participate in the school's various activities on working days

Requirements

1) English native speaker (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, South Africa or NZ)

2) Bachelor Degrees or above

3) Teaching experience (Entry level is acceptable)

4) TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certificate are preferable

5) Be dynamic and have the ability to inspire

6) Be well informed and sensitive to cultural issues

7) Participate and contribute to a harmonious work environment that encourages cooperation and team-work
