Huijia Private School was established in 1993. It is a K -12 school with separate buildings for the primary school and the junior and senior high school. It is both a day and boarding school catering for both Chinese and foreign students.

The school employs both Chinese and foreign teachers and it takes pride in the fact that there is a good collaboration between the different cultures. A lot of emphasis placed on team work and every day we strive together to create a good learning environment.

The classrooms are spacious and light and most are equipped with interactive whiteboards and televisions. Each staff member is provided with a laptop and given an area in a shared office. We strongly believe that for the children to be able to learn in a fun and engaging environment every teacher should feel comfortable in their surroundings.

The school is situated on the outskirts of Beijing which means that there is an abundance of fresh air. Both teachers and students have clear views of the mountains and are able to walk around and enjoy the school grounds. Although it is a pleasant break away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, Beijing is still very accessible due to the close proximity of the subway.

Since gaining the IBO authorization in 1998, Huijia School has continuously strived to enrich its teaching and managing experiences. It has increased its knowledge of the IB programs and we are delighted because each year there has been a notable increase in the interest of students wishing to study abroad.

At present Huijia it is the largest IB school in China. There are more than 2500 students hosting children from over 28 countries, subconsciously exposing the children to a variety of cultures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. International applicants whose English is fluent or Chinese with overseas learning and teaching experience in English speaking countries;

2. B.ED Degree Holders or above in the relevant fields;

3. Teaching license required;

4. Minimum 3 years¡¯ teaching experience for teaching positions; or a minimum of 3 years¡¯ experience for management positions;

5. Devotion in education and care of students;

6. Available according to the school starting date£ºAugust 25£¬2012;

Salary and Benefits:

Monthly salary: RMB10000 to RMB 17,000 differently dependent on position applied for and experience.
