Immediate Start. Qingyang, Gansu Province, China

We urgently require an ESL teacher for an immediate start to join two others in Qingyang, a city in Gansu province. This is a rare opportunity to experience life in China away from the major cities and western influence. We are not recruiters or a language school, but are a unique organization that feels it is very important for foreign teachers to have sufficient free time to enjoy their stay in China. To our credit, approximately 50% of our teachers sign on for a second or third year with us. They have the opportunity to stay in their current school or more to a different part of China.

The minimum requirement is that you are a native English speaker from New Zealand Australia, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada or South Africa, with a degree and a TESOL/CELTA certificate. Preference will be given to teachers with prior experience. You will be provided with solid and reliable ongoing support by native English speakers in Beijing who have had several years experience in teaching in China. You will be met in Beijing on arrival in China following which we will arrange transport to your school in Qingyang where you will be met on arrival. The school will then show you to your apartment and help you become familiar with your surroundings. Qingyang is about 3 hours north of Xi’an, famous for the terracotta warriors.

We provide:

-A competitive salary of RMB9,000 per month paid (without fail) at the end of each month.

-A completion of contract bonus of RMB1,000 per month for each month worked.

-Round trip airfare for one year contracts, and a one way airfare for a 6 monthly contract.
