Balboa International Academy excels in providing students with a stimulating, organized, and diverse educational experience. Our goal is to inspire and help develop a passion for learning at all levels of their academic careers. We are currently looking for a kindergarten teacher to join our great team in Chengdu this coming semester.

Our program runs a curriculum system based on multiple learning methods. In other words, our team of teachers will use a variety of pedagogy, classroom exercises and classroom activities to meet the needs of all students. We intend to minimize the classroom capacity so that each child gets enough attention. All of our previous students, whether they entered the public elementary school or returned to their own countries in the later period, can exceed the local education standards.

Chengdu is an exciting and vibrant city located in China's Sichuan province. Famous for its spicy cuisine and as the home of the Giant Panda, Chengdu is fast becoming one of the most popular cities in China to both visit and live in. With a population of 10 million people, the city is exciting and offers teachers a little bit of everything...excellent food, vibrant nightlife, ancient Chinese architecture, an efficient transport system and an overall relaxed environment.

What we're looking for:

Native speaker from US, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand or Australia 
Bachelor’s degree or above 
TEFL certificate or 2 years documented teaching experience 
Teaching experience an advantage 
Clean criminal record 
Passion for education

Benefits:

Salary: 14,000 RMB per month, depending on experience 
Housing allowance of 2000 RMB is provided. 
Flight tickets: $ 500 airfare reimbursement.
