International Kindergarten Teacher

International Kindergarten Teacher - Shenzhen, China

Students: 3-6 years old

Our private school is looking for kindergarten teachers to join our roster of experienced, motivated teaching professionals. Successful candidates will be responsible for leading a classroom of 10 to 15 students. We value building an inspiring and enriching atmosphere for our students and teachers, and teachers are encouraged to interact with students on a personal level and identify each student’s unique learning patterns. We also emphasize physical activity, interactive learning and the use of props and other creative educational tools.

Responsibilities:

• Work together with your Chinese co-teacher to provide a welcoming and inspiring classroom atmosphere.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the Student Learning Support program.
• Participate in annual reviews of our curriculum.
• Develop student portfolios and prepare students for Student Personal Projects.
• Introduce interactive activities into the classroom and encourage students to vocalize their concerns and questions.
• Communicate with other team members as well as parents about students’ progress and behavior.
• Listen carefully to parents’ requests and concerns, and address them as quickly as possible.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Education preferred
• Valid state-issued Pre-K 3 teaching certificate
• 2+ years experience teaching Pre-K or kindergarten classes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to teach creatively
• Willingness to move to China in late 2017
• Native English speaker
• Live in United States.

Compensation:

• Monthly salary: $30,000-50,000 annual salary DOE
• Paid summer and winter vacations, as well as paid Christmas and Chinese national holidays
• Allowance for relocation expenses
• Health insurance
