International Kindergarten Teacher

JOB SUMMARY:

HsuanHuai Institute is seeking passionate, outgoing, and enthusiastic individuals to join our family in the wonderful city of Wuhan, to help facilitate early learners to explore and learn through the environment around them. We have developed our very own curriculum based off the Reggio Emilia approach and STEAM integrating a student centered structure creating individual thinking and problem solving abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching children 3-6 years old, 20 kids per classroom, Chinese assistant provided 
Planning English study schedule and keeping an eye on process of study 
Taking part in regular teaching activities to improve academic skills and teaching skills. 
Assisting in the placement testing and interviewing for new students enrollment 
Carrying out academic events including demo lessons, parent academy and life clubs 
Attending teacher training presentations & workshops and meetings 
Providing an immersive English-speaking environment 
Maintaining good relationships with parents and keep them well-informed about their kids progress 

WORKING HOURS: 
Mon-Fri: 8:00am-5:00pm Including 1- hour break for lunch 
~25 teaching hours/week

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Native English speaker 
(have passport of US/Canada/UK/Australia/New Zealand/Ireland - visa requirement) 
Passionate about teaching children 
Bachelors degree or above (Early childhood education or Art preferred) 
ESL or early childhood education experience preferred 
TEFL /TESOL or other teaching certification 
Clear background
