About the School:



Songkhla International School is the first fully licensed international school to be established in the historical and culturally important province of Songkhla, Southern Thailand. In keeping with a sustainable ethos, the school was built from shipping containers making it a truly unique building in the city of Hat Yai.



Songkhla International School follows the National Curriculum of England and Wales, integrating an international perspective, which provides the pupils with a quality child centred academic programme.



Songkhla International School has small class sizes where first class teaching resources and state-of-the-art technologies e.g. interactive whiteboards, iPods etc.have been incorporated, enabling our pupils to assimilate knowledge in an e-learning and activity based environment.

The school is located in the city of Hat Yai, the third largest city in Thailand and is located near the seas of the Gulf Coast to the East and the Andaman to the West and just 50 kilometres fromthe border of Malaysia.Hat Yai boasts an international airport, whichprovides easy access to a wide range of locations in South East Asia.



Contract Term: One or two years with option to renew



The successful Candidate should hold:

A Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education (B.Ed.) or BA Degree with PGCE in Primary Education or an experienced graduate with equivalent teaching qualification.



Previous experience teaching at either Foundation Level, Key Stage 1 or 2 desirable.



Enthusiastic, flexible, and willing to become part of a supportive teaching team in a developing international school environment.
