Qualifications & Quality We Look for

• A passion for teaching 3-15 year-olds and have a caring attitude towards the students learning outcome 
• Friendly, professional and energetic 
• Native speaker from Canada, US, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa 
• Authenticated bachelor’s degree - Applied Linguistic, Education or Bilingual Education degree preferred but not necessary. 
• At least 2 years of teaching experience post-graduation, ESL teaching experience preferred.

Job Description 
Homeroom Teacher in Kindergarten:

Main Responsibilities:

To work closely and professionally with the Mandarin Co-teacher to ensure the smooth running of daily routines 
To take full responsibility for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate programme activities and assessment regarding the curriculum provided by school 
To provide a stimulating and effective learning environment for the children in supporting their learning 
To maintain close partnership with parents, colleagues and the community 
To provide both written reports (termly) and informal communications (where required) to parents on the growth, progress, and attainment of the children 
Other duties as reasonably required by the Head of Kindergarten 
Requirements: 
· Native English speaker 
· ESL experience is desirable 
· Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills 
· Ability to work as a part of a team in planning and implementing the school’s curriculum, strategic plans and policies 
· Strong interests in leading extra-curricula programme 
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
· Basic knowledge of spoken Mandarin is an advantage 
· Personal integrity and professional ethics
