International School English Teacher: Elementary, Home Class (grade Levels 1 to 6)

Position: International School English Teacher: Elementary, Home Class (Grade Levels 1 to 6)

When: 2020-2021 School Year

NOTE: This position requires you to have a BA and a valid teaching license or TEFL Certificate. As well, you must be from a native English speaking country.  Also, teachers currently i China, or planning to return to China with current Z Visa, will be given preferential status.

Job Details:
--Students age 6-12 years old (Grades 1 - 6)
--You will have a Chinese English teacher in your class to help you while you teach;
--Full time job: Monday to Friday, 7:40 AM to 12 PM, 2 PM to 4:30 PM (On Friday afternoons you need to meet with the students parents, so you need to work to 5:40 PM); about 20 lessons every week; 40 minutes a lesson;
--During the mornings and the afternoons, when not teaching, you'll have desk time to work on your lessons.

Pay and Benefits:
--28000cny/month - 34000cny/month (gross salary);
--Reimbursement for flight costs (economy class, to and fro) from your home country once per year;
--Comprehensive Health insurance (in/out patient care;
--Furnished apartment monthly subsidy;
--Fully paid winter and summer vacation days (2 months);
--A performance-based component to the pay system where you can earn a bonus as high as 21000 RMB at the end of each term (possible 42,000 CNY total for two terms);
--300 CNY per month stipend for computer or instructional resources;
--Reimbursement for costs incurred during Chinese work visa application process;
--Free meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) on the school campus during any working day;
--The right person could have their contract renewed for subsequent years.

Required Qualifications:
--Native English speaker from native English speaking country;
--Govt. (State Issued) teacher license/certification;
--Bachelor degree (minimum);
--Master/Doctorate degree preferred;
--Good at lesson planning and curriculum design;
--Due to work visa application reasons, age not higher than 59 at time of entry;
