Location: Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, China (1.5 hours from Shanghai, 1 hour from Suzhou and Wuxi, 3 hours from Nanjing)
Job Description:
Full Time: Teaching students Grades 1-8 or Grades 9-12, ≈ 28 contact hours per week, office hours,
meetings (each class is 40 minutes in length) (40 hours per week)
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any field of study from an accredited university
Native English speaker
American, British, Australian, New Zealand or South African Accent preferable
Desire to be a part of a strong academic environment
Kind to and enjoy working with children or teens
Willingness to learn and work with a team
Minimum 1-year contract (longer contracts considered)
Ideal candidate for science positions will be certified to teach have 300-hour TEFL certificate
Hours Per Week: FTE + office hours (lesson planning, meetings and other duties are held during office hours)
5-day work week
Salary: 20-30k per month starting pay for full time, subject area positions (pay commensurate with experience
and certifications)

Holidays: National holidays paid if they fall on a workday
October holiday— one week paid

3-story, 8-apartment house with 3 large common areas renovated in 2017

North Campus— outside of city and on-campus (on direct bus route to city center)

gated campus with guards on duty 24 hours
