Beijing New Oriental Foreign Language School at Yangzhou is a K-12 boarding school with an International High School (IHS) and we are seeking teachers for a variety of positions.

Grade 1 & 2 ESL Teachers – 25 Classes – 9000 RMB base salary with minimal additional work can easily earn up to 11,000 RMB

Elementary school grades – 20 Classes - 7000 RMB base salary with minimal additional work can easily earn up to 10,000 RMB (one position for immediate start – candidate preferably already in China).

International High School Teachers to teach AP General Science
– Middle School and High School grades –
12,000 – 15000 RMB dependent on qualifications and experience

First Grade Homeroom Teacher – a dedicated classroom head teacher teaching a single class ESL and one other curriculum subject in English.
Wage negotiable - dependent on qualifications and experience

Kindergarten Teacher -
8,000 - 10,000 RMB

We Offer:
* Actual contact teaching hours per week will not exceed 20 hours.
* A private furnished apartment with heater, A/C, water heater, TV & DVD player.
* A communal kitchen (microwave, and refrigerators), dining room, and laundry room, are available for the exclusive use of the international teachers.
* Water and electricity is provided and paid for by the school.
* Each apartment has free internet access.
* Three meals per day are available at no cost at the school cafeteria (Chinese cuisine) or International Teachers' dining room (Western cuisine).
* Purified drinking water is provided throughout the school.
* Each international teacher will be assigned an office workspace with a work computer and free
internet access.
* International teachers will receive the same medical coverage as the Chinese teachers. Although, it is
advisable for international teachers to have their own additional medical insurance. International
teachers should contact their local health office for immunisation requirements before coming to China.
* Upon finishing a full time contract for the complete school year any air travel to or from the school
will be reimbursed up to the value of 1800 USD.
* Opportunity to take on additional work for extra pay.

International Teachers Bonuses:
* A paid four week vacation for the Spring Festival Holiday.

* International teachers will be expected to arrive in China no later than August 20th, 2016. A representative of the school will meet international teachers at the Pudong International Airport in Shanghai and will transport them to the school in Yangzhou.

Requirements
We are looking for dedicated people who have a passion for teaching children, are open minded, outgoing, have good teaching skills and experience teaching ESL.
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidates must have a university degree. Bachelor degrees or higher in the fields of Education, TESOL or ESL, Linguistics or English, are preferred, but not essential.
- A minimum of two years full-time teaching experience after graduation is required to satisfy immigration regulations (NB: Does not apply if the candidate holds a degree in Education or a recognised TEFL/TESOL qualification).
- Teachers must provide a national Criminal Record background check showing NO criminal offences.
- Candidates MUST BE native English speakers and citizens of an English speaking nation such as Australia, the United States of America, the United Kingdom or Canada.

Preferred Qualities:
- Experience with children
- TEFL, TESOL, ESL, EFL, CELTA, DELTA certifications with a practical teaching component
