NAMSEOUL University is actively looking for native English-speaking or Chinese –speaking instructors. Each will be working at one of the departments listed below. We are especially interested in the applicants who are bilingual ; English & Korean or Chinese & Korean. An applicant must have a master’s degree and are also required to have at least one year of teaching experience.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS: This position requires develop student assessments/ relative course syllabus, and limited student counseling and supplementary materials if needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Full Time
- One year contract, renewable with good standing
- Full furnished housing (See below for the option)
- Medical/Health insurance and employee pension
- Approximately 5 months paid vacation per year
- Required hours of teaching: 12 hours p/w
QUALIFICATIONS:
M.A. in English or one of the majors below plus 1 year teaching experience.
M.A. in Chinese or one of the majors below plus 1 year teaching experience.
(at least one-semester teaching experience in college is required)
If you have a master’s degree in one of the majors below, you are eligible to apply for the department.

- B.A/B.S. holders with 3 years of teaching experience and a TESL/TEFL certificate can apply
- SALARY:
Annual base salary: 28million Won (with housing) or 30million Won (without housing)
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
- A resume with the recent passport photos
- A cover letter
- Copies of diploma(s), Certificate(s) and transcripts (both undergraduate and graduate courses)
- A copy of a passport (Passport photo page) and the foreigner’s registration (alien’s) card
- Two reference letters
- Two copies transcripts (sealed)
- Career certificates
- Successful applicants will need to provide Certificate of academic degree issued by the relevant university (Affixed with an apostille), 5 passport size photos, sealed transcripts and a criminal background check(A criminal background check from your own country's government which covers the whole country's information is required) according to Korean immigration requirements.

Interviews will be held until the positions are filled. For overseas applicants a phone or an online interview shall be scheduled (before , July, 2012).
