About us:

USA English is a small, American-run English training center in Beijing, China. The USA English office is located in a typical Chinese neighborhood in the Haidian District near both the extensive subway network and Beijing's university area, including its international restaurants, bars, clubs, and more. We are currently looking for American teachers to join our team.

Unlike most other private English training centers in China, our classes are no more than eight students per class, and our students are some of the best in the city. Primarily our students are between the ages of 5-15, but we also have some adult classes. The majority of our students are long-term with classes once or twice each week so there is ample opportunity to develop relationships with the students and be a central player in their learning progress. 

We provide everything you need, including training, books, multimedia, flashcards, and games to make learning fun for both you and your students. If there's something we don't have that you need, all you have to do is ask.

Plus you'll have the freedom and opportunity to develop your own teaching materials, class strategies, and style. With teaching experience or without it, we’re here to give you the suggestions, guidance, training and support you want, but have the freedom to choose how to teach your classes.

We're committed to making sure you get the most of your experience in Beijing so we’ll do our best to guide you through the ins and outs of life in China. We will help you find a house, get a Chinese phone and a bike when you first arrive, find Beijing’s best spots, and also help you sign up and pay for Chinese lessons to add "Mandarin Chinese" to your skill set.

Our team members -- both American and Chinese -- often eat together, go out after work together, and travel together. We're more than just coworkers. 

All of our teachers get a legal visa. 

Our requirements:

- Nationality: American national

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above

- Contract length: Minimum one-year contract
- Work experience: No previous teaching experience required. 

Our schedule:

- Weekdays: 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM

- Weekends: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

- Two days off per week

Our compensation package:

- Visa: 1 year Chinese visa 

- Base Salary: 12,000-14,000 RMB/month salary

- Holidays: Paid national holidays

- Bonus: 3000 USD bonus on completion of a 1-year contract

- Chinese language: A monthly stipend to help pay for Chinese language classes

- Others:

      - Arrival and accommodation assistance 

      - Access to a VPN at school

      - All-you-can-drink coffee
