K-12 Positions Available at International Schools in Jakarta

We currently require K-12 teachers in a variety of subjects for two IB accredited international schools in Jakarta, Indonesia. Both schools offer fully accredited programmes, including IGCSE and IBDP to students, offering an excellent education with the chance to become involved in extracurricular activities such as performing arts, music and sport, while being set in a safe, tropical environment.

Current vacancies for the 2015-2016 academic year, with teachers required to join by the beginning of August 2015 are:

• X1 English IGCSE Teacher

• X1 English A Language and Literature IB Teacher

• x1 IGCSE/IBDP Art Teacher

• x1 IGCSE/IBDP Maths Teacher

• x1 Grade 5 Homeroom Teacher (English, maths, science, social studies)

• x1 Secondary Science/Biology Teacher

Minimum criteria to apply:

• BA from a recognised, accredited university in a related field

• Post Graduate Teaching Qualification such as PGCE (or equivalent)

• 5 years’ teaching experience in your subject area

• Experience of the relevant programme (IGCSE, IBDP etc)

• Experience of working in an international school setting

Salary varies depending on specific role and school, but between USD 22,000 – 48,000 per annum

Benefits vary according to each school, but generally include housing allowance or assigned housing, flights, medical insurance, tuition for 1 child, settling in allowance, shipping allowance and KITAS work permit.

Interviews will take place on Skype, unless you are based in Jakarta, in which case you might be invited to attend a face to face interview with the school.
